Communicative approach. Students will be able to speak, write and use the target language items at the end of each lesson. At the elementary level, pronunciation will be highly focused on because Vietnamese is a tonal language. At the intermediate and advanced levels, students will be introduced the real life language through watching movies, reading news and articles, and at an advanced level, books, in Vietnamese, and encouraged to speak and write naturally. Cultural knowledge, e.g. customs, practices, habits, mentality, food, etc., will be incorporated in the lessons as well.
