As a language teacher, I am always deeply involved in planning and preparation which allows me to deliver lessons to the highest standards. I use a variety of teaching methods, effective materials and resources, giving learners opportunities to develop and practice their skills. I pay attention to teaching within a cultural context and being very creative I enjoy sourcing materials, making the learning process challenging and yet enjoyable. I am a huge advocate of using modern day technologies in the teaching and learning process.
In my teaching career I taught languages to different range of ages, however my approach is to look at my learners individually, from children to adults, and tailor my teaching to personal needs. Although being a teacher can be a demanding career, the joy of seeing my learners' progress in their linguistic achievements is a highly satisfying reward.

I have a BSc in Psychology. During my undergraduate in BSc Psychology I learnt the way we develop and learn as children underpins our entire lifespan. We explored learning, memory, thinking and language, and the problems encountered by young people in education - things like learning difficulties and social or emotional problems. I studied the core areas of cognitive, social, psychobiology and developmental psychology.
I have taught French at all levels, businesspeopl e, high school, elementary and pre-school. I have taught at language colleges, schools, after school clubs and private tutoring. I have used different methods such as: the direct approach, the audiolingual, the communicative approach and more. I find the use of music and the method of movement to enforce memory particularly effective. I have also taught a year 5 subjects in English such as English, Maths, Science and Art.
