Above all else I believe that you need to use the language to learn it. Therefore my lessons focus on a lot of role play. I also ensure that I put everything into context so that the student understands why they are learning any particular area of the language. Learning a language needs to be interesting and fun and if the student does not feel that they are making quick progress they tend to give up quickly. I try to ensure that this never happens. |
