I prepare lesson plans for every session however I also believe in being flexible in dealing with students as the situation can change very quickly in the classroom. Flexibility is also necessary because each student has different values and attitudes and the teacher must consider this in his teaching approach in order to build rapport and to properly elicit the lesson from the student. It is also good to be firm, but not strict, in order to properly guide the students toward achieving comprehension and accuracy. This approach also creates a more harmonious learning environment for all involved. |
