I have many persian freinds, and would love to learn the language. I would like to fully understand it, and be able to speak it. I would like a teacher that is patient and easy to understand. I would like to take night courses, maybe 2 nights a week, 2 hours a night, for maybe 2 months or as long as it takes.

Hello,
My name is Leila. I was born here in Canada, but my father is from Iran. That is the primary reason that I'd like to learn Farsi...it is part of my heritage. We are planning on going to Iran someday soon so that I can meet all of my family, and I would love to be able to speak with them in their language. I currently live in Northern Ontario, and since I'm hours away from any major city where people would even speak Farsi, I think online and/or telephone tutoring is my only option. I'm very flexible. Basically, I am looking for a tutor that can teach me to carry on a conversation in Farsi, if not speak fluently. Thank you very much for your time in considering me as a prospective student!
