I am looking to learn Persian (Farsi, Dari). I have not yet had any lessons but I do know the basics of the language. The reason for pursuing to learn this language is because my soon to be fiance is fluent in Farsi and his family is as well ( and are not able to speak much Enlgish ).
I am employed full time but I have about 2-3 days a week that I am free to have lessons. I am looking to learn this language as fast as I can :)

My family is Pathan but I lived in Punjab so wasn't able to learn Pashto. I would also like to learn Persian as the proverb says it all 'If Arabic is the language of God, Persian is the language of the heavens'
Ski ll at Pashto is intermediate. Skill at Persian is nil.
Grammar, Conversation and reading.
An hour or two every week for the summer.

I am a beginner who wants to learn Farsi so that I can communicate with older members of my religious community better. I need listening improvement the most.
