I am currently at an intermediate level. In 2008 I went to Siena Italy where I began my studies for a 3 month period in an Italian language school. I am studying because my family background is Italian and I wish to keep the language. It is also beneficial to my career choice. I am willing to do weekends for lessons. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and able to correct me and teach me to speak proper Italian.

I Don't know any italian. I want to learn italian becuase I am planning to study abroad in Florance, Italy in about 1-2 years. I would like to go there knowing italian so it won't be as hard. We are interested in a conversationa l level of proficiency to enhance our travel experience. I am of Italian descent but know no formal Italian language. We could attend 1 class per week. Hi,
I'm interested in taking beginner private or small classroom Italian classes in person, in Ottawa. These classes would take place weekly, from 12:00 noon to 13:00. Does any teacher currently teach in downtown Ottawa, in government buildings to federal employees wishing to learn a foreign language at lunch time? I would be learning this language for my personal enjoyment and I plan to visit many Italian cities on a 3-week trip to Italy in 2010.
