I am looking to learn Hawaiian to become familiar the local culture there. Currently, I am a beginner with some knowledge of the language. The amount of time I am looking to dedicate to language lessons is at least ten minutes a day. The qualities in my lessons I am looking for are steps towards speaking the language fluently.

I want to learn Hawaiian because I am interested in the Hawaiian culture, and learning a language is the best way to understand a people, a culture, a society, and also because being a professional multilingual translator, I like to expand my knowledge of foreign languages.
I can dedicate an average of 2 hours a day to my language lessons.
I would like to have a native speaker of Hawaiian as my teacher, ideally a kanaka maoli, and also someone based in Hawai'i.

I am part Japanese and I feel connected to Hawai'i. I was born on the mainland (States). If anyone has time even to teach me the Hawai'ian language through Skype whenever u can (at least twice a week), I would greatly appreciate that. Females only.
