Hello. I am a beginner Japanese student that has been placed in the only available Japanese class at my high school. However, this class if far beyond my level of comprehension , and I need this class in order to graduate. I wish to learn Japanese not only in order to graduate from High School, but in order to satisfy my curiosity on the subject. The Japanese language and culture has always intrigued me.
I need quite a bit of improvement in actually speaking the language. I have knowledge concerning Hiragana and Katakana, but I find I'm a bit rusty. I am searching out a tutor for at least once a week, and someone that will be willing to be flexible with me. I can get caught up in things when learning them and not quite understand them for awhile, and I need someone who can be patient with me in the respect.

I am an adult who wants to continue her Japanese language studies in a small adult class or through private instruction. I would like classes every week or so and would prefer weekdays versus weekend days. I took approximately 9 months of instruction on a small class basis in Denver, Colorado and finished learning the Hiragana and began learning Katakana. It has been a year or two since then so I would need to review the beginning again and then continue. I would like to improve everyday conversation and necessary skills to travel again in Japan (I have been there once). I have studied many different languages and would like to be more profiicient in Japanese.
