To whom it may concern:
I am looking for some guidance in learning the French language for professional growth purposes. I have recently found a program in Europe which requires that I pass a French aptitude test, but more to the point, I would need to be well enough versed in the language to get by in my day to day interactions. I have an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and work on a natural gas and crude oil options and futures desk (which is to say, I work in the financial services industry).
Per your reference, I have never picked up any French literature or tried my hand at learning the characters. I did take a few years of Latin, and understand that French is loosely (very loosely from what I was taught)derive d from Latin as a Romance language.
Ideally, I would like to commit two days a week for lessons (ideally an hour per session), but as I haven't learned a language since college I am flexible to the guidance of my instructor. I am not sure where I would need the most improvement as I am a blank slate, but I would generally characterize myself as a visual/kinest hetic learner which thrives in a relaxed learning environment (one on ones would be ideal, but not mandatory). I would need a teacher that is patient with me, but at the same time holds me accountable for my take home assignments. I'm thinking Mary Poppins meets Hillary Clinton.

Beginner – Thai
I have been studying on my own and a local Thai Temple until they stopped teaching. I can converse with some basic phrases, but need to really improve my conversation skills.
I train and teach Muay Thai. I want to learn Thai to travel in Thai and understand the people/cultur e better.

I always fascinated by the Spanish speaker here in my current work/ business position. As I often encounter most of my clients were fluent Spanish speaker and I was thinking this Spanish Language will be a good use for me now as well as for future.

I would like to learn Vietnamese because I have been going there every month this year researching and exploring business opportunities . I am a beginner. I would like to study at least three times a week for two hours each time. Looking for a smart intelligent person who can teach me the language in a way I can apply certain rules in pronunciation and conversation.
