I will be applying for a Fulbright grant to study and research Traditional Chinese medicine in mainland china or Taiwan for 2014. I need to learn Mandarin because some knowledge of Mandarin is preferred, and I need to provide a language instructor's evaluation with my application. My proficiency level is mid-level beginner and I can learn well. I need help with characters on the hsk exam and practice with all parts of learning conversation. I think a fast-paced and rigorous program of study equivalent to a college level language course is best for me. I want to dedicate 2.5 hours a week to private lessons. If you are a teacher who can explain the intricacies of the language and help achieve fluency You may be the right one!

Hello, Madhura -
I've been a yoga student for 40 years and a teacher for 20. I'm working on a set of intention cards for teachers and practioners as inspiration for class and life. I'm having trouble finding someone who can check what I have for accuracy. I value the look of the sanskrit script. I'm aware of the spiritual resonance within my body when chanting sanskrit words and feel that visually, the script also will resonate. It's beautiful to look at and draws me deeper in meditation. So my objective at this point, is more to consult with someone who can authenticate the script I've taken from an on-line translator.
Can you help me?

I am learning Japanese for several reasons. Mostly I want to meet new friends from around the world. Japanese culture and Industry is also deeply compelling to me. I am considering moving to the country. Japanese would be useful to me in my social and work life.
I have been working on studying Japanese for about two years. I would consider myself between Beginner and Intermediate Level. I am unable to read Japanese Literature and I can barely catch the gist of a native conversation.
I would be willing to dedicate as much time as needed, as I have allot of room for improvement.
When I look for a teacher the qualities that stand out to me are friendliness, fluency and ability to teach.
