I am beginner. I have been studying basic vocabulary and sentence formation on my own. I am a fast learner and I love foreign language. I would love to find someone to practice with and give me pointers.
I am learning Chichewa because I want to work in a Zambia childrens home in the next couple years.
I need practice in just about everything (conversation , grammer, sentence structure, ect.) as my study on my own has been sporatic.
I would like to dedicate at least 1 hour a day to study; the lessons with a teacher can vary depending on your schedule.
I am looking for a teacher who challenges. I love to constantly be pushed, stretched, and challenged. I am also looking for someone who is consistent; someone who will not take on the task and not be consistently neglectful.

I am a beginner. I know like 3 words in Nyanja. I want to learn this language because I want to go teach in Lusaka, Zambia in about 4 or 5 years, as soon as I get an elementary education degree. I just need lessons through email. I was just wondering about the costs.

My husband was born in Zambia and left when he was around nine years old. We have family there. We are now going to have our own child and would like to teach him the Nyanja language. We are both beginners, however, my husband is barely familiar with understanding the language but has a problem with speaking the language. I am a total beginner. We would like to be able to teach our child as well as communticate in Nyanja when we make trips back to Zambia.
We expect the instructor to be very familiar with the Nyanja spoken in Lusaka. It would be nice if we could meet in person for the lessons, however, we are open to internet, etc.
