Description My son has studied Latin for four years-from 7th grade to 10th grade. He is currently taking another year of Latin in 11th grade. The translations are difficult for him and I believe he would benefit from one-on-one tutoring at home. He would need someone approximately once a week for one hour. Hours are flexible.

Description Hello,

I'm interested in learning the Croation language. I'm half Croation through my mother's side of the family and visited distant relatives in Novi Vinodolski in 1988. None of my immediate relatives here in America can speak the language.

I intend to plan a trip to Croation in the next 5 years and would like to eventualy buy a small property along the Adriatic and split my time between the United States and Croatia.

I 'm currently at a beginner level in Croation and have some books and tapes but really would like some help in structuring my learning and practicing conversing.

I have 3+ years of French from highschool and college, but that was a long time ago (I'm now 35)and I know that it's very different language than Croation. With French, I was good at learning how to read and write, but never really learned to speak and comprehend it in conversation.

Right now I'm interested in finding a teacher who can help create lessons that I can do on a monthy basis. I have some bools and tapes but need some structure. I'm interested in learning both the written and spoken language but focusing on speaking and dialoging. As priorities in my current situation change I will most likely have more available time for studying Croation down the road.

I'm open to learning other than in person, though in person is my preferred way. I have never taken a class or learned remotely, so I would like a prospective teacher to let me know how they would propose to setup this type of learning.

Thank you for your time and consideration ,

Sincerely ,

Kata Ritenburg
