I am searching for a private tutor to learn basic conversationa l Italian and would like to take at least an hour per week lessons at home or near home over the next 6 months.
I am married to an Italian who understands the language fluently and can get by when conversing, but does not speak Italian fluently. We are traveling to Italy next summer to visit his family and I would like to learn basic conversation with proper pronounciatio n.

I am contacting you concerning my son, David. We recently returned from a 2 wk vacation in Japan and he is very interested in learning the language. His father is interested also, but I would prefer to concentrate on lessons for David at the moment. I don't believe my husband will have the time to give the language his full attention. My son is 4th generation Japanese/Amer ican. His father was not taught Japanese in the home so our son feels that he wants to regain his rightful language. He is currently taking Spanish and Hebrew language classes. Will that cause a problem? David is a freshman in High School and would like to speak and write Japanese. He would be a beginner.
