I am wanting to learn Farsi for personal reasons. I am half Iranian. My mom was born in Iran (Tehran), and never taught us the language. Now that I am older I want to learn, and I wish I had long ago.
My proficiency Level is beginner, and I dont have any knowledge or base. I can tell when someone is speaking Farsi versus Arabic but that doesn't really count as proficiency.
I can dedicate formally in person a few hours a week, but on own at every break in my schedule I will be practicing.
I would like a teacher who engages, and is ok with working with a queer /transgender individual. so someone that is affirming to those identities.

I hope to learn Farsi in that I can properly speak with my family back home when I go to visit them. I want to be able to communicate with them properly. I am at a beginner level. I don't know much. I just know a few words and phrases. I am looking for someone who can be able to teach me in a proper manner in that I can speak to my family and understand when they speak to me.
In Korean, I am hoping to further master the language in that I can conduct a conversation with natives when I plan on visiting the country and staying there. I am at a beginner/inte rmediate level.
In Spanish, I hope to further master the language with grammar and conjugation of the verbs. I am at an intermediate level.
