I am a beginner to Swahili, and am planning to move to Tanzania in the new year to do some volunteer work. I am hoping to gain the knowledge to be able to interact comfortably once I am over there. I am hoping to dedicate once a week for a couple of hours. I have just begun learning Arabic on my own but am still in the beggining stages. I would like a more detailed knowledge and understanding of the language than I would get learning it on my own. I am interested in learning to speak Arabic because I would like to incorporate it into my future career plans. I plan on going into Translation and Interpretatio n. The two languages that I would like to focus on are Arabic and Italian. Coming from an Italian family, I already have a knowledge of Italian. I would like to dedicate 2-4 hours a week to a language lesson. I am looking for a teacher that will teach me all of the aspects of the language and culture.
