I am a beginner although i haven tried to learn the language before through audio cd's, and stopped due to time constraints. The reason for learning the language is simply a passion for the culture and society. I am going to university at the same time but am willing to spend time during the weekends and maybe even weekdays, and as for qualities in a teacher, I simply am looking for someone who has spoken the language for a long time and knows all the intricacies of it.

I am looking to learn Mandarin as a 2nd language right now with hopes of continually developing and strengthening it until I can speak it fluently.
I know nothing of the language, so i am the very basic of beginner.
Time dedicated will be based mostly upon availabilty of the teacher and pricing (i am a university student).
