I consider myself to be somewhere between beginner and intermediatte spanish speaker. I lived in the Dominican Republic for seven months so I learnt some spanish while I was there. I am a new, potential, spanish speaker. I want to learn spanish because I plan on living in Mexico/Spain with my girlfiend in a year. I need improvement in all areas. I do understand French and a little Italian, which, I hope, will help me pick up the language. I want to dedicate minimum 2 days a week to Spanish lessons.
I'm looking for a spanish teacher who is forgiving, but will make sure to drill the language into me - repetition, repetition, repetition.

My name is Laura. I am going to Central America for two months starting in November. I am looking for someone to teach me the basics of conversationa l Spanish. I am definately a beginner, but travelled through Spain last year for about a month and I am now practising with at home lessons on CDs so I have a grasp of the accent and a jist of some conversations . I realize that there is a difference between Spanish in Spain and Spanish in Latin America. I am looking to dedicate between 4-10 hours a week although I am flexible.
