- overall class grade averaged as 92%
- overall final grade: 90%
- took both french and spanish throughout highschool, (although spanish was not inthe school cirriculum gor grade 8's) and I plan to persue a degree requiring both languages at UBC.
- I would like to improve my application skills through my reading comprehension , as the provincial is more on a communicative basis. I would like to focus on my learning for the upcoming re-write in AUGUST 19, 2004, so i can IMPROVE MY EXAM MARK IN ORDER TO RECIEVE THE BC PROVINCIAL SCHOLARSHIP EXAM. i was 15points away, and i would be absolutely grateful if we could concentrate on strategies to succesfully passing the next provincial with a higher mark, and also reviewing the grade 12 cirriculum (ie: verb tenses ideally taught, vocabulary, idomatic expressions.. )
- the more detailed the tutoring is, the more confident i will feel. I woudl also like to recieve a few assignments in which allows me to improve specifically for the exam. marking the assignments and going over the errors or problems with you notice from my works.

I recently visited Costa Rica and found it to be a country I would consider for retirement. I would like to learn the spanish language for conversationa l purposes. I know absolutley no spanish at all.I am sixty years of age and would be retiring in about eight months. I am a beginner, wishing to speak conversationa l spanish. I have travelled to the Dominican Republic twice and will be returning there and to other spanish speaking countries. I have tried on-line lessons but feel the need for a class environment with other students and a teacher. I would like to take classes at least twice per week, with much more practice in between. I would like to commit to spanish lessons so as to converse fluently in spanish. I am looking for a teacher who is personable, approachable and very patient whose native language is spanish. I would prefer to be in a class environment with other students. I will not take lessons on a one on one basis in a private home, mine or theirs.
