i am looking for either a personal tutor or a tutor who deals in small groups, to teach me swedish.
jag taler lita svenska, inte mycket och inte mycket bra. but i try!! i have visited many times, i know want to take the basics that i know a lot further, for possible career advancement.
a few hours or more a week would probably suffice and my tutor would ideally be swedish, with a good command of english (which most swedes usually have).

I have travelled to Thailand a few times now and i feel i should be speaking better conversationa l thai.
Hopefu lly, in the future i would like to live and work in Thailand.
Ho pefully i will be able to find a teacher that lives in my locality or maybe there is a possibility of 'live-in'.
I am returning to thailand in dec. 2004, so would like to be fairly proficient in conversationa l thai by then.

My parents speak punjabi but I cannot speak it myself. I have never lived in a punjabi speaking community. I can understand a lot of the language but have trouble understanding pure punjabi. I would say therefore I am a beginner and want to learn the language to get in touch with my culture and be able to converse freely to express my feelings to my relatives in India. I want to particularly learn communication and conversation. Reading and writing is not as important as verbal communication . I can give 1-2 hrs a week preferably over the weekend.
I am looking for a patient and understanding teacher who will be able to give me the tools to learn how to converse - put sentences together, increase my vocabulary and give me the skills to learn the language as fluently and efficiently as I can.
