Hello
I would like to learn Russian because I have a lot of friends who speak the language.
I like the culture and want to learn more about it.
I would also like to visit Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakstan, etc one day and by learning Russian it will be a lot easier for me to get around and understand the culture.
M y proficiency is slightly lower then intermediate level.
I know the alphabet, to count, basic grammar and the 6 cases.
Instr umental, Accusative, Dative, Genitive, Nominative, prepositional case.
I can read, write and understand basic Russian.
M y pronunciation is good by my spelling and grammar need work.
I would like to dedicate 1 day a week (2 to 3 hours)
The qualities I am looking in a teacher is for them to be firm but fair in the way they teach as well as focus on learning the language step by step.
Such as spelling, grammar, pronunciation etc.

Hi, I was born in Odessa, Ukraine and can speak and understand russian fluently. However, I speak very poorly, making constant grammar mistakes and mispronouncin g words. I have also been forgetting much over the years. I understand a lot more than I can speak, and have always wanted to improve my grammar and vocabulary. I'd be willing to meet 3-5 times a month.
