Hi, My husband is from Tanger, and we live in the US. I visited Morocco a lot, but speak almost no Arabic, except for some basic household stuff. I was thinking it might be fun during our next visit to arrange a course or some tutoring for myself. We also have two daughters, who certainly understand more than I do, but who really only speak English, and we may be looking for some children's course a least for the older girl. She is now 3 yeas old.

I have do not speak a word of Arabic. I do wish to learn it. I just returned from a trip to Egypt and Jordan and now have a desire to learn it. I would like to dedicate at least one or more days per week to learn basic Arabic phrases and then develop simple conversation phrases. I would like an instructor who speaks Arabic fluently, one who was raised with the language, not someone who took classes to learn it.

I took a few years of Arabic in college but forgot most of it. It would be a shame to let my effort go to waste! Arabic is a beautiful language, and also a useful one these days. I would need improvement in all areas: conversation, grammar, writing, handwriting, etc. I'd like to meet once or twice a week if possible with a teacher who focuses on comprehension and communication . Drills are important, but I want to understand and be understood in Arabic above all.
