I am 67 years old, female, a disabled retiree.
My proficiency level would be beginner. I want to learn Sorani Kurdish to understand the Kurdish people in Iraq and their history and politics and, most importantly, their point of view. I would particularly like to learn to converse in it, and read, and write it for future possible correspondenc e. I can dedicate 1 hour a day 5 days a week and up to $25 for 1 lesson per week for a year or more. If there is more than 1 dialect, I would like to learn those also, after learning the 'standard' one. I am looking for a teacher who wants to teach me.

I am a beginner, although I do know the alphabet. (I have studied Arabic for some time and also know some Farsi).
I have a longtime interest in Central Asia (as well as Iran and the Middle East).
I am pretty capable of learning grammar independently , but I need a teacher to develop a good pronunciation and conversationa l skills.
I would be able to study for an hour a day, at least.
I am very flexible in working with teachers who have many different approaches to teaching (and will provide references from other teachers I have had, if so desired).

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am looking for a tutor to enrich my son's capability and ability to speak Thai. My husband is of Thai/Chinese origin and speaks both Thai and English to both our children. My 4 1/2 year old needs more tutoring in my opinion, and I believe that now is the time to get him into Thai language lessons or else he may never be able to fully enjoy the pleasure of his father's native tongue.
I would like to have him meet once a week with a tutor who is able to teach a young child and perhaps, young adult in a fun, cultural manner.
