I will be visiting Egypt in late April and would like to learn some very basic conversationa l Arabic. I might pursue further lessons if I enjoy the first ones.
I am a beginner and am not particularly good with any foreign language. I can read a little French and took a very little Spanish some time ago.
I would like to be able to say 'Thank you', 'Excuse me', etc. in Arabic while I am in Egypt. For now, I think I would like 6-8 private lessons so I won't be completely lost while on my trip. I would also like to surprise some of the natives that an American knows a little of their language.
I would like a very patient teacher, preferably someone who knows Egyptian Arabic. Patience is very important, as I am not good at pronouncing foreigh words (I have a southern accent).

I am a beginner of the use of French. I have taken courses but remain at a rudimentary French level. I am married to a French national, we have one small daughter. I would like to learn his language to share in his culture and family relationships in France, also I desire to help teach our daughter to be proficient in French as well as English. I really need improvement in all areas of the language but hope to be able to conjugate properly with verbal communication in past and future tenses. The time spent on the lessons would depend on the cost and location. I am hoping to find someone patient,profi cient, and reasonably priced.
