I am wanting to learn Korean, so at this time I am a beginner. I am wanting to learn Korean for personal reason, and I would really like to learn how to read, write and of course speak. Per week I am really wanting to push to learn as fast as humanly possible. So, I guess I just need to understand from a teacher point of view.

I am a beginner in Korean. My father lives in Korea and has lived there for 20 years. His current wife and adopted daughter are Korean. I would like to be able to speak Korean with them and with everyone the next time I visit him in Korea. I need lessons in all areas. I am currently learning from a book and CDs but I do not think it's helping much with my speech or comprehension . Also, it is difficult to get feedback from a book. I would say conversation is most important to me but I think that other things underlie the ability to speak, such as grammar and vocabulary. However, I would also like to be able to read and write in Hangul. I would like to take maybe 2 lessons a week and do a lot of work on my own. I am very bad at learning to pronunciate things correctly in other languages and I would appreciate someone who is somewhat patient.
