Boker Tove Morah, Shemi Leviah. I am trying to relearn hebrew. I am looking at a postition to teach and I have about 6 months to get ready to do so. I can read and write pretty well but my translation and conversation is poor. I'd like to brush up on the conversation primarily. I'm 40yrs of age with a Bachelor's in Christian Counseling. I'm also a certified substance abuse counselor in my State. I'm a former license minister who was fed up with falsehood of the bible due to many false/wrong mistranslatio ns. Which in-turn promotes false interpertatio ns of scriptural context.
I have no traning of any kind of the Hebrew langauge. I am determine to learn the language for the purpose of understanding the Torah and the Prophets of the so called old testament. I have the time and energy with no timetable in learning the language. I work 40hrs a week with the rest of my time available learning this beautiful language.
I do perfer someone with African descendent who is familar with the Torah. Who also is patient in their teaching.
