I am a begginer in Croatian. I would like to learn because the majority of college friends are Croatian. I have picked up some from being around it constantly but becuase i have the ability to learn languages at a fast pace I thought I would only benefit from learning the language. AS for Italian, I lived in italy for 3 years for University, although as I mentioned before my friends were mostly former Yugoslavian and arabs, therefore my italian suffered a little bit. I am intermediate- advanced italian and intermediate spanish. My priority is Croation at the moment. For Italian and Spanish, chatting and reading is all i need. But I need to start as a beginner for Croatian, I would like to dedicate at least 4-6 hours a week in Croatian. I work well with those who can excel at a fast pace. Vocabulary and grammar is a must.

My father is Croatian and I go to Croatia on a yearly basis, however having grown up in America with an American mother I cannot speak Croatian but I do have a familiarity with the language. I live in San Francisco and can travel in the pennisula I would like weekly lessons for at least a year.

My father is of Croatian descent (Slavonja) and I hope to go there in the future. I also belong to the CFU but can only speak a little. I need help with pronunciation and sentence structure, this is something I have been needing to do for a very long time. I attempted to teach myself when I was younger but found that it was very difficult without a native speaker.
