I am a beginner, having taken some German in school. I want to learn a second language mainly because I believe it to be important to continue learning new things throughout my life. I also have a desire to learn about other cultures and ways of life. I am a beginner and as such I need to work on all aspects of the language I am learning. I would like to come up with a schedule for lessons with the teacher I choose. A teacher with patience will be important, as I am only starting out.

I am a beginner beginner in Punjabi(as in I cant speak any full sentences and I only know a few common words)My fiance is East Indian but he was born in Canada. I work with his family and since we are getting married i think it is important if i try to learn the language. I need improvment in all areas.
