I am a native canadian trying to win over my 'soon to be' inlaws from India. My girlfriends mother does not speak english, so I thought I'd learn to speak Hindi so that we can comunicate and build a relationship. I am brand new to the language and only know a few words. I am hoping to take lessons once a week for a few hours, hopfully with enough guidance and material that I can practice throughout the week. I'm an excellent student, but really only need to learn conversationa l Hindi, so there's no preasure on anyone who wants to take me as a student. I would like to find a teacher in Mississauga if possible, but I'm pretty gung ho about this and ready to travel throughout the GTA if no one is available in Mississauga.

I signed up for a cantonese class in Vancouver years ago but it was cancelled because only 3 students. I have had an interest in Cantonese for some time and when recently in Vancouver witnessed a Canadian talking to some folks at the airport in Cantonese and it really inspired me again.
