I am a beginner learner to the punjabi language. I need to start my lessons at a level 1 stage. I work mon to fri until 5pm, so i would prefer to have lessons on the weekend. But this can be negotiated. Time is based on what the instructor suggests i should take in order to advance in my lessons. I am looking for an instructor who is friendly and patient.

Hi,
I want to learn Mandarin Chinese, because I think it would be a good step to take. If I want to become a travel agents. I would be in the befinners group because I have no experience in speaking chinese. I would be able to dedicate 1 to 2 hours day everyday (doesn't have to be everyday though). I'm not looking really for any qualities in a teacher other then, 1. speaks english well enough to understand, 2. Is reliable.

My proficiency language
in Japanese is very much at a
beginner level. I only happen
to know a few phrases, mostly
as a result from movies, music,
and some friends. I would
like to learn Japanese as I
have an interest in the culture
and knowing another language
wou ld be nice. I feel I need
improve ment in most of the
areas as I am just a beginner.
Ho wever, I do seem to have a grasp
on pronunciation /sounds of Japanese
in a way. The amount of time I'm
willing to dedicate to my language
les sons may be once a week, for an
hour or so? If this does not seem
enough, please let me know as I
don't seem to know what exactly
is needed or required.
Th e qualities I'm looking for in
a teacher who is knowledgeable
in the language, who is patient,
and is willing/enthu siastic about
teachi ng. I hope this is not
too much to ask for. Please
let me know if you want to know more.
