I am a beginner in mandarin. I took one course at Okanagan College but didn't have the time to immerse myself. I plan to go to china in march of 2008 and i would like to learn as much as possible before that time. I work til 4-5 each day but i would be willing to dedicate as many nights a week as possible to learn the language. I would also like to learn Mandarin and use it for a career if possible. When i was learning Chinese I had no problem remembering the words once i learned them but I need work on my inflections. I am looking for a patient teacher who is knowledgeable in the language.

Beginner, I speak Arabic, but I forgot how to read and write it. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish and I would like to enhance my Arabic skill. It would help my career tremendously. My ultimate goal is to be able to read the language and fully comprehend and understand what I'm reading so I can be able to translate it to others. I'm looking for a tutor who's very patient with me, I have a hectic work schedule that it changes on weekly basis and sometimes daily.
