I'd classify my level of Japanese language proficiency as Beginner, however I do experience and familiarity with basic grammar structures, the Hiragana and Katakana, and the Kanji.
I feel the areas I need the most improvement in are vocabulary and the reading/writi ng of Kana and Kanji. Pronunciation is not an issue.
I begun learning Japanese out of fascination of the country and culture, but now it is moreso to further my goal of teaching English as a second language. I figured since I was already familiar with Japanese, and seeing as Japan has a high demand for English, I may as well teach ESL in Japan.
I'm looking to spend a fair amount of time on learning Japanese, while keeping in mind a full-time job and other activities. As far as lessons go, preferably they would be structured well and balanced, covering all areas of the Japanese language, but also in person and maintaining a a casual, low-intensity learning environment.
