I am new to the Amharic language and seek a teacher that

I want to learn some basic Amharic phrases so that I can
converse with Ethiopians when I visit Ethiopia.
I need to learn the alphabet, grammar, and would like to acquire some speaking skills.

I am a beginner - No German knowledge/exp erience
I will be spending the summer in Austria doing an internship for my Masters degree in Social Work.
I would be interested in 1-2 hours of instruction a week, starting immediately until the first week of April, 2007. I would prefer private lessons or small group lessons and would be willing to spend $15-$25/hr.
