Hi! My name's Marlo, and I'm 14 years old. I speak English and French, and I would like to learn Swedish, because I have taken an interest in the culture.
I am less than a beginner, seeing as I only know how to say hello and goodbye. I need improvement in EVERYTHING.
I suppose I will dedicate an hour or two a week. I am a very fast learner, who has a very flexible pallet, so I should get the accent on the dot.
I don't care about who my teacher is, though I feel more comfortable around females. I hope you want to teach me!

I studied French for two years at University and was highly proficient at that time. However that was 18 years ago and gradually, being home with small children during the past few years, I feel I have lost much of what I had learned. I very much want to brush up on my French as, this time next year when my youngest child will attend school for full days, I will be returning to work outside the home. I would like to pick up on my previous knowledge of French as I believe that will help in my job search at that time. My major focus would be on spoken French at this time.
Ideall y, I would be able to work with a teacher during the afternoon while my children are still in school, once or twice a week, 'though I can be more flexible if required.

I would say i'm at the beginner level. I can understand and speak some Punjabi as I've improved over the last month through practicing through various online websites. I speak with a wesern accent however and I have difficulty speaking fluently, fast, and creating sentences. I also have difficulty understanding people who can speak fluently. I do have a great desire to learn though as I've spent alot of time practising myself recently.
I would like to learn for the following reasons:
1. immerse myself in society while in Punjab and communicate with family there.
2. to pass on the language to future children.
3. to communicate with Punjabi clients.
I need improvement in grammar and conversing. No desire to read or write just yet. I'm willing to spend 3-4 hours per week to learn. In a teacher, i'd like someone who is patient and speaks English as well.
