Hi!
My name is Torsten and I would like to start to learn Spanish. Originally I come from Germany and I just started to work in Edmonton. From the beginning of this year up to June I lived and worked in England. So I think my skills in the English language are good enough to start a Spanish course for beginners. I want to do that because I believe that nowadays your chances to get a good job are as better as more language skills you have, especially in Europe where I want to work again in the far future. I'm looking for a course which is in the evenings, maybe 3 hours per evening twice or three times a week. It should start not earlier than 6 pm. So 6 to 9 pm would be fine. Please let me know what you think and how much it would cost to do this.

I have done french in high school, up to grade 11 and part of OAC (grade 13 in Ontario) I was once able to fairly-fluent ly speak it, but not so much anymore...I can manage _slightly_... I am trying to eventually go to Africa as a Registered Nurse and it would really help to have a second language, especially french as I can probably pick it up more quickly, and there is a fair amount of people in pockets there that speak french, enough to make me a better candidate than someone that only speaks English. I am primarily concerned with being able to fluenty speak it, as opposed to conjugating verbs and what have you (though I understand this is necessary). I would be able, hopefully, to dedicate as much time as possible to make it happen as quickly as possible.

I am looking for a Chinese mandarin teacher for a small school in Whistler, BC. Lessons would be once or twice a week, for 2 classes of approx. 15 students each. Children are ages 6-12 and all beginners. The focus of foreign language teaching in our school for the first 4 years is mostly oral through songs, plays, games and stories. Exposure to the culture and art of China is encouraged as well.
