I would like to learn Japanese. I am a beginner.
I would like to go in Japan for 1 year Working Holiday and I would like to learn some Japanese to have a base.
I will try to fit at least 1 or twice a week to learn Japanese depending on my current work schedule.

Hello,
I have recently started a career as a Real Estate Salesperson in Whistler. I feel that it would be a great benefit for me to learn to speak either Mandarin or Cantonese so that I may communicate more effectively with potential clients. Perhaps you might be able to direct me a little as far as which language is more widely spoken and how similar the two are. Conversation would be my focus. I think that live, in person lessons would probably enhance my learning ability but I'm flexible seeing as I live over an hour from Vancouver.

Have very general and basic knowledge of Korean language, and would like to build up to intermediate level. Would also like to learn to read and write, for career advancement.
One to two lessons a week (1.5 - 3hrs a week)
Woul d like a teacher who has good understanding of the culture, business culture amongst Koreans, and can also assess my abilities and build on that. I am of Korean descent, born in Seoul, but lost a lot of the language being raised in Canada.

I would be a beginner and would like to learn afrikaans, as well as my brother. I/we want to learn it because my fathers family side are all south african and although my dad cant speak it my grandpa and lots of family in south africa do. Also me and my brother think it would be cool since we could talk about whatever and no one else would no what we are talking about.Basical y just learning reading and speaking, but not writing as much, maybe just a little but not as much. I would like to have the lessons in the summer but as soon as possible would be fine, and spending as anything like 10 hrs a week or something, its the summer so it doesnt matter as much. Qualities in a techer are simplely able to speak afrikaans and good english, as well as a good hearted teacher who doesnt mind jokes and a little fooling around.
