Profieciency level: Beginner. I have taken a CD course (Pimsleur Approach). I have been working with a Croatian office for 2 years and visit regularly. Although they speak excellent English, I am enjoying being able to say a few things in Croatian, and want to take it further. My purpose is purely for self-improvem ent.
I now need help to understand grammar (endings!!), sentence construction conventions and to widen my vocabulary.
I am looking for 1-2 hours per week, depending on ease of getting to location. I don't mind joining in a small group, or having some lessons 1-1.
Qualiti es I am looking for are that the lessons enable me to understand how to use the language (explanations ) but also that they are light and fun.

I am interested in learning basic conversationa l Swahili within a year. I am going to Kenya in July 2010 and I would like to be fairly confident when I arrive there.
I would need a teacher who can be flexible with their working time, and I would also need a tutor with competitive prices, since I am a student.
I am able to travel around Liverpool, but would prefer a home visit. I am a capable student.

I have visited Thailand on a number of occasions [holidays].I intend to return 2-3 times a year,hopefull y retiring in Thailand in 5-6 years time.I wish to learn to learn the language so that I would be able to hold a conversation with a local in their own language, rather than expecting a local to speak English. hi,
I've completed level one in arabic for beginners, with the open university that i did along side my degree.
Sinc e then i've been trying to improve my knowledge of the ababic language, but working full-time i find it difficult to enrol in any evening classes.
