My proficiency level is minimal. My reason for wanting to learn is because my fiance is Slovak, this sounds like an ideal situation to learn the language, however he works nights and I am a full time student. We just don´t get the time. I would be able to accomodate several hours a week learning time, ideally 2 or 3. What I am looking for from a teacher is someone who is able to give me a solid knowledge of the foundation of the language on which I can build upon.

I am a Beginner, i have a property in bulgaria and next year i open a bar in kitten with a bulgarian friend of mine ,i shall be there for 6 weeks ,so it would be useful and polite to learn the language.
Conversation , would be best for me, i struggle to spell and write properly in english.
Qualities in a teacher , as i teach semi professional football, i need some to help me get to grips with a hard language to learn and some one who can teach. A coiuple of hours a week ideally on saturday mornings or mondays nights but i can be flexable.
