I want to learn Japanese because I plan to go to Japan several times in my life and also, I always wanted to learn a second language; Japanese is most interesting to me.
I would say my level of Japanese is possibly beginner to upper beginner level. I know all Katakana, most of Hiragana (but no Kanji). Also, I believe I have the pronunciation s correct for all vowel sounds.
I believe I would mainly need improvement on my Grammar, conversation, sentence structure, and writing the characters most.
I would like to dedicate approximately 1 - 2 years on my Japanese, depending on how fast and efficiently I learn the language.
The qualities I am looking for in my teacher are patience — as I can get quite confused at times — also, I would like to see kindness, dedication, and professionali sm in my teacher.
