I have studied Mandarin on and off for 10 years and I went away where there was not a single Mandarin speaker in sight. I would say I am elementary. All facets of Mandarin need work. I don't want to write characters. I am a Realtor(R) and need to speak for my business plus I go to China often.
I would like to dedicate 3 hours per week minimum. Separately from this request I and am looking for somebody who wants homestay so I can practice often. Language exchange-mand arin speaker and I would trade english.

I am learning Russian to complement my degree in International Studies, broaden my employment opportunities and gain a window into a greater understanding of Russian culture. I would rate myself as an advanced beginner; I completed a full-year university-le vel beginners Russian course in 2009/10. I would like to focus on increasing my conversation skills and expanding my Russian vocabulary. I am willing to dedicate a few hours per week (1-5) to language lessons.
