I'm at a very basic level of Spanish, having completed a short evening course last year, but I'm very keen to improve.
I 'm planning on spending 3 months in Colombia early in 2007 to learn Spanish and do some travelling so I'm looking for a private Spanish tutor to get my Spanish as up to speed as possible before I go. I'm particularly looking to improve my conversationa l abilities.
Ideally my tutor would be a native Latin-Armeric an Spanish speaker. At the very least they'd need to have a good understanding of differences in grammar between Spain and Latin America.

I am a beginner, I am hope to be profient in many languages throughout my life. I am highly interested in learning the language that the Koran is written in although this is nor my only reason for learn the language, I also want to be able to understand and contribute to discussions with those close to me and also when I go abroad.
I am currently embarking on a university course as a result i would plan to dedicate perhaps two hours a week on studying the language.
I would like to pay as i go with the lessons and have them face to face. I am only a poor student but am happy to pay a fair price for a paticent compenant and professional tutor.
