Intermediate level - but need much more practice in general conversation.
I can read and write Arabic and have been using an Advanced course book to learn specific vocabulary in Economics.
However I want to develop daily conversation, particularly articulating how I feel and understanding how others feel.
I would like at least 2* 2 hours a week - in the first few months.
Qualities in a Teacher: I really need the teacher to push me at a fast pace in my conversationa l approach - I want to make sure though that my Arabic is as clear as possible. The teacher should also have a clear idea on the types of phrases and vocabulary I need to acquire.
I work hard and therefore would accept the teacher asking me to learn large volumes of vocabulary for the next lesson.
I also need the Teacher to help me and train me to understand other people during conversation.

I am marrying a Swedish girl in August and I am expected to atleast know basic swedish by then. I am prepared to dedicate about 3 hours a week for 6-8 weeks, to start with anyway. - intermediate.
- I am learning Arabic because I think it is a charming language and now I would like to master it for career prospects too.
- I am going to Tunis from 1st to 16th July 2006 and will need someone to give me private lessons 3 or 4 hours in the morning everyday for 2 weeks as I won't be able to attend Bourguiba school since the start and for the whole month as I did 2 summers ago.
