I am at a beginner level of Punjabi. I have taken some classes at UBC, but they have ended. I am not looking to furter learn the language. My main area is the conversation skills to communicate easy. I am will to dedicate as much of my time as I am able to. I do work full time and will be taking evening class in the fall of 2006. I would like to learn Punjabi for a couple of reasons one being the career I am studing is good to know more than one language, another would be I live in B.C. and it is a very muilt-cultura l province. These are some of the reasons I would like to study Punjabi.

I am a beginner, have no previous experience in speaking hindi. but i would like to learn to speak, mainly for conversation reasons. also i am interested in learning punjabi as well. I am learning this for personal reasons. As for the time, i can dedicate couple of hours a week. i would like a teacher who can help me guide and let me practice.
