I would like to learn French for two reasons...I have always wanted to be able to speak a second language and the other reason is for career progression. I did complete all 3 beginner levels of French at College Boreal but most likely need a slight refresher. I will dedicate as much time as possible to my lessons...App roximately 35 hours per week. For my teacher I would like open communication and timely responses when needed.

I am currently studying Farsi independently because I have a passion for languages all over the world. Also, my finace is Persian and I find the idea of being able to speak to him and his family (especially when his grandma doesn`t speak English)in their native tongue is a great accomplishmen t and lots of fun.
I feel I have learnt a lot of grammar and am also able to talk about certain things in Farsi (eg: respond to a question, demand something, etc.). I am told my prononciation is farily good, but I feel that I need to have more converational practice.
I need someone that is very passionate about teaching that I can learn from easily.

Hi,
I'm Daniel living in Toronto and a student of York university taking Health Informatics.
Ive been watching a bunch of Japanese shows for the past decade and still cant manage to create a single easy sentence in Japanese.
I will be taking a Japanese language course as an elective at school but before that i would really want to learn the basics by a professional teacher so within a couple of years i hope i would be able to speak fluent Japanese.
I have passion to learn and i am so into the culture due to my background.

I wish to improve my conversationa l skills in everyday language in Japanese. My wife and I have made friends in Japan but we have trouble communicating comfortably in Japanese and resort to English. I have taken Japanese classes at the beginner's level in both Japan and Canada. I have also spent many hours studying vocabulary and yet have great trouble expressing myself in everyday conversations . I am retired and have both the time and desire to devote to learning this. Presently, I feel that I have reached a plateau and not able to rise to the next level. I need help to proceed. Looking for a teacher who can interact with me and encourage me to think on my feet.
