Greetings -
My husband and I are looking to take Spanish lessons in order to learn another language together. I already speak English and German, and Jeremy, my husband, speaks English and a bit of French. We think it would be worthwhile to enjoy the cultures of the places we visit by learning the local language.
I am also a secondary English teacher and am simply interested in continuing to learn and remember what it's like to be a student.

As after i am done schooling i may travel to the middle east. I currently, have a sligt understanding of the alphabet, but the pronounciatio n is big area of improvement.

I have always been interested in languages and I admire multilingual people. My main interests are Japanese and Tagalog. I have always been intrigued by the beauty of the Japanese language. I would also like to learn French and Spanish (for career advancement).
I am a beginner in all of these languages. I have learned a few things in Japanese on my own (numbers, days of the week, greetings).
I would like to delicate at least 2-3 nights/days a week to learning.
The qualities I'm looking for in a teacher are someone who can give me the patience I need, although I am a quick learner.
