Hi I am an actor and I am preparing for a film audition for a large role as a Russian (Russian mobster :)) so I would like to study Russian at least for the next month or two. I started using 'Michel Thomas's Learn Russian' to get a head start and I took a basic course fifteen years ago. I would like to do extra work on pronounciatio n, slang and swear words. Perhaps we can do a monologue from Chekov in English with an accent and even in Russian! If I am lucky enough to get the part in the film I would like to work on the dialogue using a believable Russian accent. I would like to work twice a week for the next month (October). I am learning Latin because I decided I'd take it as a course in university. I am a beginner in the language and I need to (learn and) improve in various areas of the language. Because it is a course that I am taking in school, I am dedicating a lot of time to learning and practicing Latin but I am having some difficulty with the language. The lessons should be organized - they should include exercises that help me learn the language, and it would be great if I could have a teacher that could help me work through any assignment questions that I may have difficulty with.
