- I want to learn Japanese because I am majoring in International Business
- I am taking my first Japanese course at Grant MacEwan
- I keep up with all my homework, I would just like extra practice for verbal communication and interaction, so I can get a better understanding and memory when I can put into context.

Hi, we have recently relocated to Canada. My 11 year old daughter has just entered Grade 6 and has never studied French before. She is totally overwhelmed in the class and I would like to find a tutor who can give her some basic grammar, vocab and conversation (please advise) to get her started. She has studied Afrikaans and German (only a little) previously so is not unused to new languages but she does often struggle with pronunciation . Her current French teacher at school addresses the class in French throughout the lessons which she finds very frustrating because she cannot understand what is going on and what she is expected to do. I would ask that the tutor conduct her lessons in English.

I wish to learn Scottish Gaelic to go back to my anscestoral roots. I also would like to learn Irish Gaelic as well. I am definitely a beginner I don't know anything about the language. I wouldnt sya I need improvement in areas yet as I have not learned any part of the language.
I would be willing to dedicate 1 hour two days a week. qualities I am looking for in a teacher is someone who loves the language and knows it very well and is patient with a new learner.
