I am interested in learning Japanese, mostly because I found out that I have Japanese ancestry and am interested in my roots. I've always been interested in the culture and I also enjoy learning new languages. I am fluent in English, however I do understand and speak French decently, as well as knowing a bit of German and Tagalog (Filipino).
I would be starting off as a beginner student in Japanese and I am most interested in conversationa l learning.
As far as time is concerned, I'd like to dedicate at least two to three hours a week to the lessons.
I am looking for a teacher who is not only well versed in the language, but also the culture associated with the language. I learn best through conversation and complete immersion and would like a teacher who teaches in this way as well.

I am learning Japanese because i am fascinated by the language and also because i have watched a few Japanese dramas and i think that it is interesting. My proficiency level is beginner. Hello, my name is Esther and I would like to set up private lessons for my company. We are associated with alot of business back and fourth fron China and it is important to learn the language. Learning Mandarin will be an asset to our team.
We would be interested in setting up lessons for 3 people, and they will all be at a beginner level.
We will need help and motivation to learn all areas and customs of the language. We would like to dedicate most likely once a week, although this can be discussed.
We are looking for a teacher who is both able to speak English and Madarin. We will also need a candidate who has means for transportatio n, as we are located in North Toronto. Therefore, the lessons will be taking place at our office. Compensation will be very rewarding.
