High School I want to learn Japanese as it has always been a goal of mine. I am Japanese myself, but have no ties to my heritage. I currently know nothing of the Japanese language. I am learning Japanese because I wish to visit Japan in a few years and also live there after I'm finished attaining my Bachelors Degree. I am a beginner to the language and I'm willing to dedicate more than an hour a day for my lesson. I would prefer to have multiple lessons a week. I spent 10 days in Japan and I am fascinated with the culture. I want to learn for career advancement. My proficiency level is at beginners level. I am currently learning Japanese because I enjoy the culture and the language, although that is not the main reason I want to further advance my skills in Japanese. I am now attending College of Southern Nevada getting my associates in Business and international languages. In high school I took three years of Japanese, and in college I have only taken one semester. I would consider my language proficiency level an intermediate level. I do feel that I need more improvement in conversation and also feel that I need to learn more advanced writing skills.
I would like to dedicate at least two to four hours a day or every other day for the language lessons. And the qualities I would like to see in my teacher is patience, and not being rude.

・I am a 16 (17 in a month) year old girl who wants to learn all the japanese I can. I think Japan is a beautiful country and someday I want to travel there and teach english. But to do that, I would like to know how to speak as fluently as I can before that.
・I can read a few Kanji, but its definitely a work in progress. I know a few words, phrases and I can count up to 100. What im really focusing on is Hiragana, Katakana as well as Kanji.
・I am a beginner, but Im a pretty quick learner.
・ The most areas I need improvement are things I should say and shouldn't say (because people might find me rude if I say something wrong in Japan and I don't want to offend anyone) and my Hiragana, Katakana and, of course, the Kanji.
I would dedicate a lot of my time. Im a homeschooler so I have plenty of free time for studying.
Im looking for a teacher who honestly cares about my learning and isn't just in it for the money. I really, really want to learn and I want a teacher who makes me want to learn. I also want someone who will be patient and not mind my bad pronunciation on some words.
