I have always wanted to learn ASL for many years. So now that the kids are grown, I can finally dedicate the time to learn this beautiful language. I have tried some online self-paced classes but I feel that it is more beneficial to me to have an exchange with a person to cement what I have been trying to learn. I do know the alphabet and can fingerspell a bit, but I am having trouble signing words/phrases to form sentences and cannot find a community to get the feel and flow of a conversation. I am flexible during the week and sometimes on the weekends and am willing to work out a mutually convenient schedule. I learn better with a little structure but love a sense of humor.

I have a huge interest in foreign languages and would like to be able to increase my fluency in multiple languages. I am mostly a beginner at the languages listed,and I would say I am at medium fluency with Spanish. I would like to dedicate at least 2-3 hours a week at studying.
